Real and Barca would win Serie A unbeaten....

... F1 used to be one or two horse race for many years with Ferrari (Schumacher) dominating, does that mean that Indy 300 is better?? LOL Go to sleep....

Real Madrid and Barca have two horse race in the WORLD not only in Spain, we who watch La Liga are just lucky to watch these two historical teams week by week.... instead of watching Serie A the most corrupted league on planet where ''has been'' players spend their retirement. Nobody is watching Serie A anymore, not even the HOME FANS, the stadiums are empty because everyone knows the games are fixed, everyone in Italy knows that there is absolutely NO DIFFERENCE between what Juve was doing before 2006 and what Inter was doing after 2006 until today...

You're correct. La Liga is the only consistent 2 horse race in Europe. Obviously by the end of the season you do cut it down to 2 teams with realistic chances in any league, but still, anyone outside Real or Barcelona have no chance in winning the league b/c they don't have the capacity to do so.

There are new challengers every season or so in the Premier League (Liverpool 2-3 seasons ago, Arsenal last season, City this season) regardless of how repetitive it is.

Serie A recently has had a lot of new challengers, or new faces. Napoli have come into it, as have Udinese, and possibly Juventus. The race for the Champions League spots in Serie A is much more competitive than any other league in the world.

The divide on opinion, though, is having a competitive league v a stable league. If you have a bit of both, then you have a fine balance, but many different teams win the Bundesliga and within 2 years can be nowhere near what they were (Stuttgart, Wolfsburg et al). Bordeaux have disappeared recently after being under-dog forces in 2009.

But I digress; La Liga is the only consistent 2 horse race in the top European leagues.

I think so because the only true competidors in la liga are barcelona and resl madrid while in serie a and the epl you have many more teams that are equaly matched.

As some already mentioned, RM and Barca are the 2 strongest teams on the planet, if they played in serie a, the 3rd placed team in the league would be 40 points behind the 2nd placed one.

Serie A is just looking competitive because all the teams suck.

It is. But players like Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, C Ronaldo, Kaka, and Benzema will retire some day. And Pep Guardiola and Mourinho will be not be there forever.

Eventually, the other clubs will catch up.

it's funny because that Jose bloke said real will win serie a when they're in la liga. although they have more chance in winning that because barca will win la liga easily

spanish teams can only win in their homeland simply because they can dope and use the advantage of having an extra man called referee , spending spree for football on a recession time is not Advantage its a crime

LOL. I'm 100% sure Real Madrid C "WILL" win the Serie A unbeaten. I agree that the serie A is the only competitive league, but that's because all the teams are weak.

And Epl is a one team league.
