which team has more fans? and is there a distinction, like one side of town supports sevilla and the other supports betis?

Last time I read an article in estadio Deportivo and it said it was fairly even in percentage of the fans in Seville.50/50 of Sevilla FC and Real Betis fans. Sevilla FC is the most hated club in Andalucia and I wouldn't doubt it if Granada,Malaga,and other Andalucian clubs preferred Betis over Sevilla. Sevilla is the most successful club in Andalucia and it hurts a lot of Betis fans to admit it.

Yes, Both Betis and Sevilla are the most popular clubs in Andalusia. Málaga is also popular but Betis and Sevilla have bigger fan base, more known. Funny story, Betis has bigger stadium than all Andalusian clubs and most of the time is full, especially when it's a derby or simply a big/important match.
