Jorge "Mágico" González is a former football (soccer) player and standout for C.D. FAS (El Salvador), Cádiz CF (Spain) and the Salvadoran national team.



González received his first international cap May 1, 1979 in a friendly match against Mexico. He would go on to receive a total of 48 caps for the El Salvador team, leading them to the 1982 World Cup, and scoring a total of 40 goals for the team.



González was nicknamed El Mágico, the Magic one. The Estadio Jorge "Mágico" González in San Salvador is named after him. He was voted greatest player in the 20th Century for the CONCACAF Region.

He's a player from El Salvador, the best player our country had give to the soccer world. He played for Fas in Santa Ana and from them he went to Cadiz in Spain, where he became one of the best players. However, his attitude and his behavior affected him in his career and was forced to leave Cadiz becuase of his nights hangouts at night clubs

The best soccer player ever in El salvador.He is one of the brothers of Gonzalez called"los pachines".Born in san salvador,town call "colonia Dolores".he's nickname were "mago",but his close friend used to call him "cuchara"(spoon) he is compare to Diego maradona and better than Ronaldo.
