Question:
Are Real Madrid going to annihilate Man United?

I've made a point of watching United pretty regularly for a few years now. One thing I've noticed about them is that they are absolutely awful under pressure. Many teams also win 50/50s in midfield against them. This is because their game is based around counter-attacking and exploiting space - when they are pressed and have to work their way out of tight spaces they look clueless. The best examples of this are when they played Barca and Athletic, but they've had similar issues against teams in the PL, even some of the cannon fodder (see Southampton the other night).

Real Madrid are a counter-attacking team too but they also have players who can control a game and cope with pressing (Alonso, Khedira, Ozil). Plus they're simply better all over the park.

Another factor is Vidic and Ferdinand - I've thought Vidic is vastly overrated for years and susceptible to pace. I liked Ferdinand but he's in decline now. Evra cannot defend either, and Rafael is up against Ronaldo. RM's front four should destroy Man United's backline.

I've been confident for Real Madrid since the draw was made. RM were in poor form but you always knew they'd sort themselves out somewhat. I also believe this Man United team is incredibly overrated and their lead at the top of the PL is more of a reflection of that league's decline that their own ability.

Then there's RvP - a big game bottling fann y if ever there was one.

I strongly believe RM are going to hammer them. The arrogant idiots on Redcafe were acting like they 'should beat RM no problem', but given their recent performances compared to RM's some of them are starting to **** themselves.

My predictions?
4-1 RM in the Bernabeu
2-1 RM at Old Trafford

I agree

Even out of form, RM could handle them (they beat City and Barca when they were still in bad form) but now that Di Maria and Ozil are coming back to form and Ronaldo is back to scoring a lot I don't see any situation where United wins.

Ramos, Coentrao and Di Maria will be back this week already and Pepe will be back in a week or two anyway... plus they have Varane lol

Diego Lopez

Ramos-Varane-Pepe-Coentrao

Khedira-Xabi

Di Maria-Ozil-Ronaldo

Benzema

Real Madrid outclasses them by a mile in every position except for ST, however Benzema is still a top ST when on form. While RM will run out players like Xabi, Khedira, Ozil, Ronaldo, Ramos Pepe, Coentrao, Arbeloa and Di Maria who are regular starters for top international teams, United will be running out players like Fletcher, Phil Jones, Rafael, Carrick, Hernandez, Welbeck, Young, Valencia, Smalling, Ferdinand, Evra... there's just such a gulf in quality that I see no way Manchester United can win.

If you should be buying household holiday places then Madrid is the city and this hotelbye is the area to start. Your kids will only adore Madrid since there are enough amusement parks, zoos and excursions to keep them occupied for weeks. In Madrid you will also find some of the famous place in the world like: Alcalá Gate, el arena de football Santiago Bernabéu, la Plaza España Square and significantly more. Madrid also presents areas where you can get socked with tradition, places like: Thyssen Museum or Archaeological Museum. In few words: Madrid is a city that's many interesting areas to show it.

Madrid are missing key players and have been poor so far.

Manchester United on the other have a very fragile defend so far this season.

So if Real Madrid pick up form then they can defeat Manchester United given the current defending but if Manchester United fix their defending problems then they will have a great chance of progressing given their firepower.

I am hoping for a Madrid win by the way

We won't get hammere but we will lose. I don't have faith in the current Man Utd squad, Real might be in bad form but that does not change the fact that their team is better.

I doubt it, RM have been VERY poor this season, and are still missing a number of key players...but i believe they can beat United.

It is going to be close but I think United will be triumphant.
